Food: Wide-ranging menu, from baguettes and salads through to
hot meals, including breakfasts, pies, fish and chips. There are also
toasties, cream teas, croissants, home made desserts muffins
and tea cakes. House specialities include home-made steak pie and Greek
feta salad.
Drinks: Pots of tea, inlcuding herbal infusions, filter coffee
(with free top-ups) and milk shakes, But also check out the popular
and well-prepared speciality coffees: espresso, cappuccino, latte,
mocha and Americano. The café and restaurant is fully licensed
and bottles lager, beer and wine is available with meals.
General: Situated near the George Hotel at the bottom of the
main road, Cintras has a small, neat downstairs room, with lace table
cloths, willow-patterned china and gentle piped music. Upstairs it's
also table service and also doubles as an attractive evening restaurant
(seating 36). At the back there is a popular tea garden with
seating for up to 60. The downstairs area is wheelchair accessible,
including the toilets. Walkers very welcome; dogs in the garden only.
Limited parking available on main road by shops, or pay and display
car park off Oddfellows Road.
