The local Hathersage News is available from the Post Office and the butcher's as well as in all three churches in the village. In it you will find information about all Church events, and many other local happenings as well.

During the summer afternoon teas are served in the Bell Room, opposite the Church, with home made cakes!

On the Bookstall of the Parish Church of St. Michael and All Angels, there is a constantly changing display of interesting and very reasonably priced books and booklets. Their subjects cover local history, especially of the church and village, and topics such as local walks, also great photographs of our wonderful Peak District, its customs and its people. There are also Christian books and books of comfort, prayer cards and postcards. Don't forget the bookstall, particularly at times like Christmas and birthdays, and please recommend suitable titles you think might appeal to others.
