Roy and Pat Pritchard welcome you to their beautiful Country Inn dating back to the 17th Century. This family run establishment prides itself on making your stay as memorable as possible, however long you choose to spend with them.

Set in the heart of the Peak District, Hope has many alluring features. There are spectacular scenic views, country walks and bike hire at your fingertips. Hope is surrounded by pretty neighbouring villages, one of which is Castleton, home of the world famous Blue John Stone. There are four caverns to visit and many gift shops for you to peruse at leisure. Castleton is also popular for potholing and hill walking.

Very close by is the village of Eyam famous for the great plague. English heritage is dominant in this area, Chatsworth house is the Peak District's pride and joy, this is well worth a visit, it has wonderful gardens and is home to the Duke and Duchess of Devonshire.

Whatever activity you choose, Roy and Pat will be only too happy to point you in the right direction.

You can reach Hope by car, train or bus. It is approximately 15 miles from Sheffield and 20 miles from Manchester.
