A loose association of like minded
gentlemen meet on a regular basis for fun and exercise. The two founding
members Mick Laver and Trevor Winstanley formalised their amalgamation
under the memorable title of the Fat Boys Running Club.
Mick and Trevor have welcomed
others into the inner circle.
Although only apprentice status
has been achieved to date by the aspiring members such as Gordon Evans,
Ian Clough, Paul Hulbert, Anthony and Alan Peel, Pete Bellhouse and
Mike Pullman. Others such as Mark Jervis has been labouring diligently
to achieve the coverted award and has recently achieved the required
specialised physique.

band beware for the waists are wide, the thirst is great and the training
is non-existent.
