This unique outdoor heated pool is set in a lawned enclosure, with a
covered veranda to one side, and gives users an opportunity to swim
in the open air, in warm water, amidst the glorious Peak District scenery.
In recent years the facilities, opening time and services provided have
been updated. We have a rolling programme of improvements which this
year has provided new pool coveres and better filtration. The Parish
Council is responsible for the management of the pool and Derbyshire
Dales Council provides invaluable financial and technical support. High
Peak Borough Concil also provided financial support by subsidising season
tickets for its residents whom this is the nearest pool. We look forward
to welcoming you to Hathersage Pool this season and are sure that, if
you come, you will certainly want to return.
